About the project

Home Access Lab is an independent bilingual library for U.S. families, homeowners, and caregivers planning home modifications. Our goal is to help people ask better questions before spending money or sharing personal data with a seller.

What we do not do

We do not assess a person, certify designs, guarantee prices, or determine program eligibility. The site does not replace occupational therapists, architects, engineers, contractors, financial advisers, or local authorities.

Revenue model

The site may display advertising and, in the future, clearly labeled affiliate links. Advertising does not determine our formulas or editorial conclusions.
